Dr. Joseph J. Schwartz, executive vice-chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, and Morris W. Berinstein, the UJA’s national campaign chairman, today reported to a meeting of the Jewish Agency here that the UJA’s loan campaign had already brought in $55,000,000 in cash, and would yield more than $65,000,000 before it closed. They said that the loan effort had not effected the regular UJA drive.
