The Israel-Jordan Mixed Armistice Commission met today to consider Israel’s complaint against Jordan in the murder of 11 bus passengers in the Negev last week, but adjourned until tomorrow after a four-and-one-half-hour session. Israel delegates accused Jordan of responsibility in the attack.
The adjournment was decided upon to give both delegations time to read the report of United Nations field observers on the incident. The report was distributed just before the meeting was convened today. The session was chaired by Commander E. R. Hutchison of the United States Navy, a senior UN observer.
