U.N. Bill of Rights Body Empowered to Consult Any Group Which Can Further Its Work

The U.N. Commission on Human Rights today empowered the working group which is drafting an International Bill of Rights to consult any persons or document it deems necessary to further its work.

It was decided, however, that pending a decision by the Economic and Social Council, the commission will take no final action on the question of relations with non-governmental bodies.
