U.N. Chief Worried over Syrian Attack; Terms Situation “very Serious”

The acting chief of staff of the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization in Palestine is understood to have reported to UN headquarters here that the clash along the Israel-Syrian border in the Huleh area today is “very serious.”

This was learned here today after a meeting between Mordecai Kidron, acting head of the Israel delegation here, and Andrew Cordier, executive assistant to Secretary General Dag Hammarskjold.
