The United Nations Emergency Force in Gaza issued a statement today, circulated here, declaring that four armed Israelis had been intercepted in Egyptian territory where a Bedouin woman and a child had been killed by small arms fire. The UNEF communique stated:
“A United Nation Emergency Force patrol this morning found four armed Israelis on Egyptian territory south of Raffah. When intercepted, the Israelis, said they had lost their way, and withdrew across the international frontier. Subsequently, the UNEF patrol learned that the Israelis hod engaged a Bedouin camp in Egypt with the result that one woman and on: child were killed by small arms fire and one woman was wounded.”
