The Commission on Human Rights this morning adopted a resolution requesting the Subcommission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities to give further study to the whole question of minorities, including the definition of the term “minority.”
The resolution, sponsored by Chile, China, Egypt, India and Pakistan, was adopted by a vote of 10 in favor, 6 against (Australia, Belgium, France, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States) with one abstention (Greece).
