Two technical assistance experts will leave for Israel in the near future under auspices of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization as a result of an agreement signed today at F.A.O. head quarters by Israel Ambassador Abba Eban and Dr. F.T. Wahlen, chief of the expanded technical assistance program of F.A.O.
The experts will advise Israel for a period of one year. One of them will be an expert in land use, who will determine which lands are best adapted for grazing, forestry, and the production of crops. The second will be an expert in range management with special knowledge of semi-arid conditions prevailing in much of Israel.
