David Hacohen, Israeli delegate to the Economic and Financial Committee of the General Assembly, today made another address pleading with the “have” countries to come to the aid of the so-called underdeveloped countries through SUNFED–the special UN fund for economic development.
Mr. Hacohen, who addressed the same committee last week, spoke again in obvious reply to the positions taken by the United States and British delegations. Without naming the Big Powers, he reiterated his previous stand to the effect that only action by the rich countries could make a reality out of a desire of the poorer nations for the establishment of this special UN fund.
