U.N. Officials in Geneva Astonished at Algerian Attitude

International circles here — including the Red Cross, the World Health Organization and some officials at the European headquarters of the United Nations — reacted with amazement today, when it was disclosed that the Algeria’s Provisional Government has rejected acceptance of voluntary, Jewish medical teams ready to provide aid during the grave health situation in Algeria. They expressed astonishment over the “racist” attitude apparently taken in Algeria.
