The United Nations secretariat was still a waiting replies tonight from France, China and the Soviet Union to its unofficial request for their approval of the projected special session of the General Assembly to discuss the Palestine question.
A spokesman for the British delegation, which is awaiting replies from the three nations before formally presenting the request for a special session to the Secretary-General, said that no action was expected before tomorrow at the earliest. The Chinese delegation stated that it could not reply before then, and the Soviet representatives have not yet indicated when their answer can be expected.
