U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan vowed to discuss with Lebanese authorities the “situation” of three Israeli soldiers kidnapped over the weekend by Hezbollah gunmen. “The soldiers should not be harmed,” Annan said, adding that the Red Cross should be given immediate access to Staff Sgt. Avraham Binyamin, Staff Sgt. Omar Suad and Sgt. Adi Avitan.
