An agreement was signed today between Israel and the United Nations Technical Assistance Organization for establishment of a central meteorological institute in this country.
The UN group will provide equipment valued at $300,000 out of the UN Special Fund, and the Israel Government will construct the buildings and other service facilities at a cost of about $500,000.
