Dr. Mohamed Fadhil Jamali of Iraq told the United Nations Trusteeship Council today that the Arab world could not accept the “dynamite” proposal of Roger Garreau, Council president, to divide Jerusalem into three zones. It would “endanger peace for a long time,” he said. Dr. Jamali spoke at the opening Council debate on the “working paper” for an international regime for Jerusalem which M. Garreau proposed a week ago.
