The U.N. Trusteeship Council, now in session here, today completed the second reading of the Jerusalem statute and will start on the third and final reading on Wednesday, it was announced here.
By a vote of seven, with four abstentions, the Council decided that the future governor of Jerusalem shall facilitate the repatriation and resettlement as well as the social and economic rehabilitation of Arabs who were compelled to leave Jerusalem after Nov. 29, 1947, when the United Nations decided to partition Palestine into separate Arab and Jewish states.
