A United States Air Force party headed by Col. J. Christberg arrived here today to study a series of projects carried out by the Haifa Technion for the Air Force. The six American officers will stay two days.
The Technion recently presented 40 research offers to U.S. Air Force headquarters in Europe, including studies in the field of electronics, aeronautics, cosmic radiation, and solar energy. Meanwhile, it was reported today that an American scientific institute had approached the Hebrew University regarding the translation of Russian scientific papers.
