U.S. and British Members of U.N. Trusteeship Council Seek Advice on Jerusalem Issue

The American and British members of the U.N. Trusteeship Council today started consultations with their governments with regard to steps they are to take when Israel and Jordan present their positions next Monday on the question of the internationalization of Jerusalem.

The offer made yesterday by Aubrey Eban, head of the Isreal delegation, to release Arab funds frozen in the Jewish state up to 100 Israel pounds per account was today accepted by the U.N. Palestine Conciliation Commission.
