Nathanya’s second “industrial zone” was opened here today at ceremonies presided over by Mayor Oved Ben Ami. The first such area was completely filled in a short time by 140 enterprises.
The new center, which is only 15 miles from Tel Aviv, on a main road, is expected to attract some 300-400 plants and businesses. Cabinet Ministers and representatives of the national institutions and of many towns in the vicinity attended the ceremonies which featured the cornerstone laying of a new beer distillery for which $1,000,000 was raised among American and Israeli investors.
