General Matthew B. Ridgway, U.S. Army Chief of Staff joined the National Jewish Welfare Board today in paying tribute to 200 of the volunteer workers who participate in the JWB’s religious and recreational program for G###s and hospitalized veterans at 42 military installations and VA hospitals in the New York area.
The volunteers were honored at the second annual JWB Armed Services rally before 1.300 parents of servicemen here. The rally also heard a review of the JWB’s Armed###program by Benjamin Lazrus a JWB leader who revealed that some 150,000###and hospitalized veterans are served by the program.
