Jacob J. Rabinowitz, authority on Jewish law, has been appointed Lecturer in Hebrew Jurisprudence at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, it was announced today by Samuel Hausman, chairman of the board of the American Committee for the Hebrew University, Weizmann Institute of Science, and Technion. Mr. Rabinowitz, who has written extensively on law, translated a portion of the Code of Maimonides, which was published last year by Yale University.
