Reinhold Rutte, a 24-year-old American citizen, was arrested at Ludwigsburg today and, according to police, confessed that he was participating in a plot against the Central Office for Investigation of Nazi Criminals, located at Ludwigsburg. The office prepares all cases for prosecution of war criminals in Germany.
Police charged the American was armed with a pistol and was found to have had “an incriminating note” when he was arrested as he was trying to take photographs of the Central Office headquarters. Police authorities said Rutte has been living at Oldenburg, in northern Germany, which is a stronghold of right-wing and neo-Nazi activity.
