Seventy-two college students and 36 Hebrew educators left today for a summer study tour in Israel. The study tour was arranged jointly by the Jewish Agency and the American Association for Jewish Education. The students’ group tour is under the auspices of the Jewish Agency.
Mrs. Rose L. Halprin, acting chairman of the Jewish Agency, announced that several hundred religious leaders, educators, social workers, and students of high school age, will participate in a variety of seminars to be held under its auspices in Israel this summer. These seminars, she said, help to further cultural understanding between the two democracies.
