U.S. ENVOY ARRIVES IN ISRAEL TODAY FOR TALKS ON JORDAN VALLEY
Eric Johnston, President Eisenhower’s personal envoy to the Near East, will arrive here tomorrow from Jordan via the Mandelbaum Gate to discuss with top Israeli leaders the American-sponsored plan for regional development of the Jordan Valley and Arab and Israel proposals for such a scheme. Premier Moshe Sharett, Trade and Industry Minister Peretz Bernstein and Defense Minister Peretz Naphtali will confer with Ambassador Johnston.
