The recent floods in Israel have wrought incalculable damage to the country’s soil, Prof, Walter C. Lowdermilk, American soil conservation expert, told a press conference here today.

The author of the famous Lowdermilk Plan said he has prepared a scheme for utilizing rain to enrich the soil. Implementation of this scheme will cost $500,000 which, it is hoped, will be received from the United States Government as a grant.
