Secretary of the Interior Oscar Chapman announced today that Edwin H. Dahlgren, chief of marine fisheries for the Fish and Wild Life Service, will leave this week for Tel Aviv, on a Point Four project to aid in the development of Israel’s fisheries.
Mr. Dahlgren will serve for three months as fishery advisor to the Technical Cooperation Administration Director in Israel in the initial planning and administering of a comprehensive program of fishery development. On the basis of his recommendations, a Point Four technical cooperation project of longer duration may be established in order to help Israel develop her fishery resources.
