U.S. House Majority Leader Dick Armey (R-Tex.) said that it will be “difficult” to convince Congress to provide aid to support a peace deal between Israel and Syria. “There is a lot of hesitation about that, and it will be a difficult time getting Congress to accept the responsibility to underwrite that agreement,” especially for the Syrians, Armey said on C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal.”
