Joseph S. Rosenberg, president of the Anco Importing Corp., who went to Czechoslovakia with a petition from 54 American importers of Czecho-Slovakian merchandise appealing against anti-Semitic measures, reported today following his return that he was able to obtain assurances from the Government that the anti-Semitic boycott would cease and that anti-Semitic newspaper articles would be suppressed .Mr. Rosenberg said he obtained from the Government a written statement disclaiming any intention of hindering activities of Jews and Jewish business. A meeting of importers yesterday accepted the statement and it was decided to cable the Czech Government notifying it of the acceptance.
