American instructors are training Saudi Arabian military pilots in the use of American aircraft at the Dharhan Base in Saudi Arabia, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learned here today.
The JTA informant, an American who until recently lived close to the Saudi base from which American Jewish servicemen are barred by Saudi insistence, said that training of Saudi pilot has increased. Until now, he added, the Arabs have been trained to fly conventional piston engine planes but jet plane training is scheduled to start soon.
