U.S. Jewish Leaders Invited to Roumania’s Anniversary

An official invitation to the celebrations being arranged for May 10th by the Roumanian government on the tenth anniversary of Greater Roumania was extended to the officers and executive members of the United Roumanian Jews of America by Victor Filip, representative of the government.

Mr. Filip also invited representatives of organizations affiliated with the United Roumanian Jews.

Those going to Roumania, for the occasion, will be given free Roumanian visas, a thirty per cent reduction in fare on the French railroads, and fifty per cent reduction on the Roumanian railroads.

A drive to raise $10,000 for the United Palestine Appeal was launched in Houston, Texas. M. N. Davidson is chairman of the campaign.
