The National Conference of Jewish Communal Service, an organization of American Jewish social workers, today announced that it had concluded plans for a five-week summer workshop in Israel in cooperation with the Jewish Agency.
The group, which will conduct a study of the social welfare institutions in Israel, will leave the United States during the first week in July and will also participate in Israel’s celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the Jewish State, the announcement said.
