U.S. Landsmanschaften to Aid Russian Jews

The offer of Landsmanschaften in the United States to bring constructive relief to Jews in the towns of Russia was accepted at a conference of the administrations of the branches of the Ort (society for the promotion of trades and agriculture among Russian Jews) in Russia, White Russia and the Ukraine. An all-Soviet Ort, with a wider scope, is to be established according to a decision reached at the conference.

A list of towns where Jews require urgent relief will be prepared and the interested Landsmanschaften abroad in formed in order that they may supply machines, tools and raw materials for the Jewish workers.
