Jonathan Daniels, American member of the U.N. Subcommission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, has submitted to the body two draft proposals for the protection of minorities and the method of handling petitions on the subject. The subcommission adjourned today pending an effort to obtain clearer instructions on its functions from the parent body, the Commission on Human Rights.
