U.S. Middle East envoy Dennis Ross plans to leave tonight for Israel for another round of talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The visit comes amid uncertainty over whether a proposed meeting with Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat will take place in Washington next week.
