President Zalman Shazar, Finance Minister Pinhas Sapir and Tel Aviv Mayor Mordechai Namir were among the prominent Government and public officials who took part today in the opening of the International Trade Fair in which some 40 countries are participating with exhibits. Among the delegations from various countries who attended the opening ceremonies were representatives of Argentina, Cyprus, Poland and a number of African countries.
Dr. Robert White, head of the United States Meteorological Department, formally opened the U.S. pavilion at the Fair which features a model of a space vehicle used by American astronauts.
