A group of 30 Orthodox rabbis and teachers arrived today from the United States for a month-long seminar under the auspices of the Jewish Agency Department of Torah Education for the seventh program of its kind. The group attended a reception at the Supreme Rabbinical Center where they were welcomed.
Other current seminars include a group of 32 men and women from American Jewish communal institutions studying social welfare and health programs; a group of 20 non-Jewish American University scholars attending classes on Bible; 75 American high school students studying Hebrew for class foreign language requirements; an Italian group of school teachers; a French-speaking group from Algiers, Belgium and France and a group of 17 Wisconsin scholars attending a special three-week seminar.
