John Kerry poked fun at his Jewish heritage at a St. Patrick Day’s breakfast in Boston. “So who said I didn’t have the matzah balls to be here,” said Kerry (D-Mass.), who surprised the crowd at Monday’s event by attending despite recent prostate cancer surgery. Kerry recently learned that his grandparents on his father’s side were Jewish.
