Three hundred and fifty Americans, representing more than a score of professions and technical skills, have affiliated themselves during the past since months with PATWA, an organization of American professionals, technicians and students planning to work in Israel in the near future, it was announced here today.
Engineers, teachers and social workers constitute the largest professional categories in the PATWA membership which also includes doctors, nurses, physical therapists, psychologists, writers, artists, geologists, physicists, lawyers, accountants and office personnel. More than 20 members are already working in Israel. Nine left for Israel during the past month and 12 are presently on their way or are preparing to leave.
