Twelve professors from the United States universities arrived here to attend a six-week seminar on “the Land of the Bible.” The group came here under the auspices of the Jewish Agency department for culture in the Diaspora.
The visitors include Christian clergymen, all of whom are instructors in Biblical research and theology. Besides the study of modern Hebrew, the seminar will include lectures on the status of current problems and the state of Israeli culture, given by Hebrew University professors, senior government officials and members of the Jewish Agency.
