The prosecution today completed its case against 3 Nazi officers charged with leading a special Gestapo task force which exterminated ##,000,000 Jews and other “racially inferior” people during a two-year period.The American prosecutor wound up his case in the record time of 13 and onealf hours. The case is being heard by an American military court, Following comletion of the prosecution presentation, the trial was adjourned until next Monday hen the defense will be heard.
The three-man court accepted some 170 documents as evidence, including tally beets of the various persons murdered by the Nazi unit. The prosecutor’s case was ased almost entirely on the documents which included copies of orders and records of the mass killings.
