The American Protestant Defense League called on the United States today to support the State of Israel against “injustice.” In an open letter to President Eisenhower, Secretary of State Dulles and members of Congress, the Protestant group warned against “bartering” away the rights of the small nation of Israel.

The league underlined that Israel’s reprisal actions were taken only after repeated unheeded protests to the United Nations.
