An American scientist, Dr. Max Jammer, was named today to head the physics department at Bar-Ilan University, the American Mizrachi-sponsored university in Israel.
Dr. Jammer is slated to expand the university’s physics curriculum from the present four courses it offers to ten by the next academic year. Dr. Jammer has lectured at Harvard University and has done research at Princeton University’s Institute for Advanced Study.
