Three American scientists and six Israeli professors from the Weizmann Institute of Science at Rehovoth have been awarded Chaim Weizmann scholarships, the institute announced here yesterday. The Americans will spend a year at the Institute while the Israelis will do research at various American hospitals, universities and research centers.
The scholarship winners are: Dr. Jacob Goldberg of Stanford University; Dr. Richard Hinman of Iowa State University; Dr. Seymour Katcoff of Brookhaven National Laboratories; Dr. Nehema Haran-Ghera, Ora Kedem, Dr. Alex Meisels, Dr. Abraham Patchornik, Abraham Raviv and Dr. David Samuel, all of Israel.
