U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell discussed Iraqi support for Palestinian terrorist groups in making the case for military action against Saddam Hussein. Speaking Wednesday in front of the U.N. Security Council, Powell said Baghdad trains Palestinian terrorists “in small arms and explosives” and funnels “money to the families of Palestinian suicide bombers in order to prolong the intifada.”
