U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will not visit Israel later this month when she travels to the Middle East for meetings in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Israel does not view the decision to skip Israel as a snub, the Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported. Last week, Albright rejected a request to meet in Washington with Israeli Foreign Minister Ariel Sharon.
