A Passover message to the Jews of the Communist countries in Europe from the director of religious activities of the American Jewish Committee is being broadcast by the powerful radio transmitters of the United States Coast Guard cutter “Courier” which is stationed in the Eastern Mediterranean, the American Jewish Committee announced here today.
Throughout Passover week the message, by Rabbi Morris N. Kertzer, the AJC official, will be broadcast more than 100 times in 18 languages over the cutter’s transmitters and those of other Voice of America stations in Europe.
