The U.S. Department of Agriculture today confirmed details of a new agreement to supply additional surplus food commodities to Israel totalling $6,000,000. The supplemental agreement under Public Law 480 provides for financing the sale of $6,000,000 worth of wheat and corn and grain sorghums including certain ocean transportation costs. Payment will be in Israeli pounds.
