The launching of a $1,000,000 campaign to help finance the new central library now under construction on the new campus of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem was announced today by Mrs. Louis S. Gimbel, Jr., president of the women’s division of the American Friends of the Hebrew University.
She also reported that the library will include a United Nations Documents Reading Room. The women’s division also will allocate a special Library Endowment Fund of $100,000 to provide the Hebrew University with books and library personnel.
