The formation of a new group of young Americans to reinforce Israeli border settlements established by Habonim Labor Zionist Youth was announced here at the concluding session of the 25th national convention of the Habonim organization.
Upon graduation from Habonim training courses, completion of studies, U.S. military service and leadership assignments within Habonim, members of the new group will join one of six settlements founded by Habonim in the Jewish State. More than 1,000 graduates of the labor Zionist youth movement now live in Israel.
