Ukrainian Jewish leaders and Polish scholars clashed during the dedication of a monument to 49 professors killed by Nazis and local collaborators during World War II, according to the Union of Councils for Soviet Jews. The monument does not mention that most of the slain professors from the city of Lvov were Jews.
