A warning to the branches of the ultra-orthodox Jewish world organization Agudath Israel, and to leading rabbis and institutions affiliated with the organization, was issued by the Agudah headquarters in Vienna against individual acceptances of invitations to join the Jewish Agency.
Such steps should not be taken without previous consultation with the Vienna headquarters of the Agudah. Individual action in this matter will endanger the interests of orthodox Jewry, the circular says.
