The conditions under which the Agudath Israel, the Orthodox Jewish world organization, which has been in opposition to the policy of the Zionist Organization in Palestine, would consider entering the extended Jewish Agency were outlined by Jacob Rosenheim, founder and leader of the organization, at a mass meeting held here last night.

The mass meeting was called in connection with the forthcoming international congress of the Agudath Israel, which will take place this summer. It is this body, known as the Knessio Gdaulo, which determines the policy of the organization.

Speaking at the mass meeting on the conditions for entering the Jewish Agency, Mr. Rosenheim of Frankfort stated that the Agudath Israel would be ready to cooperate with the extended Jewish Agency, provided:

1. That the extended Agency limits its activity only to economic and colonization work. Also, that in its representative capacity toward the Mandatory Power, the League of Nations and the non-Jewish population of Palestine, the Jewish Agency act with consideration for the political interests of all Jewish sections and groups.

2. That the Jewish Orthodox community of Palestine receive a public and legal guarantee of its autonomy in religoius and educational questions.
